• about

I write about art and faith and the border country between them. I have written reviews for Times Literary Supplement, Crucible, and The London Magazine, and written features and essays for The Church Times and The Inkling.

Between 2012 and 2019 I studied History of Art; my PhD thesis concerned space and perspective in medieval sculpture. I left academic art history to train for ordained ministry.

I am now a curate in the Church of England, living and working in Cambridge. I’m also on the editorial board for Art+Christianity.
